What areas does Just The Details serve?
We serve East Grand Rapids and the surrounding Grand Rapids, MI area — including Ada, Forest Hills, Cascade, Kentwood, and Wyoming. If you're just outside that range, reach out and James will let you know if we can make it work.
Do you come to me? Is Just The Details fully mobile?
Yes — we're fully mobile. Our wrapped trailer brings its own water, power, and air right to your driveway, so we're completely self-contained. All we need is a spot to park the trailer and access to your vehicle.
Do I need to be home during the detail?
No. As long as we have access to the vehicle and a place to set up the trailer, you don't need to be home.
How much does a car detail cost?
Our starting prices are:
- Interior Detail — from $210
- Bronze — from $285
- Silver — from $325 (our most popular)
- Gold — from $385
Final price depends on your vehicle's size and condition, which James confirms before booking. Third-row vehicles are an additional $33 on any package.
What's included in each detailing package?
Interior Detail — deep vacuum, carpets shampooed, plastics wiped down, interior windows, seats, and all crevices and vents.
Bronze — everything in the Interior Detail, plus rubber mat shampoo, pre-wash rinse, contact hand wash, wheels and tires, calipers, and tire shine.
Silver — everything in Bronze, plus UV protectant, leather seat shampoo, and a 1–2 month paint sealant.
Gold — everything in Silver, plus leather conditioning and a long-term ceramic paint sealant.
Do you offer ceramic coating?
Yes. Ceramic coatings are a custom service that varies by vehicle, so James gives you a personal quote rather than a set online price. The same goes for boats, RVs, and motorhomes — just reach out for a quote.
Do you have a monthly maintenance plan?
Yes — our Monthly Maintenance Plan keeps your vehicle consistently clean for $165 per month.
How long does a detail take?
Most details take around 2 hours, depending on the package and the condition of the vehicle.
What are your hours?
We're open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern. We're closed on Sundays.
How do I book a detail?

How do I pay?
Payment is collected the day of your service. We accept cards and most major payment apps.
